Villa La Joya Destination Wedding
Whenever we get the chance the to shoot a wedding at Villa La Joya, we truly jump at the opportunity. So we were thrilled when we were chosen as the Mexico Wedding Photographers for Jessica and Ali´s emotional wedding in Villa La Joya, Playa del Carmen. The newlyweds travelled from San Diego in California for their magnificent Mexico destination wedding in Playa del Carmen.
First, beautiful bride Jessica got ready for her wedding rented villa located a stone´s throw from Villa La Joya. Until she shared a couple of glasses of champagne with her bridesmaids. In the meantime Ali, the groom, got ready at the hotel Paradisus Playa del Carmen. After which we arranged an impromptu photoshoot with his groomsmen in the wedding venue. Both bride and groom saw one another for the first time in Villa La Joya, during a surprise First look we set up. Once that was done, we continued to get some more bride and grooms portraits inside and around the venue prior to their wedding ceremony.

Then, moving on to the very emotional wedding ceremony took place in the garden at the back of the venue, near the sea. Adjacent to a floral arch designed by Riviera Maya florist Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design. Beside the bride and the groom, was Riviera Maya Officiant, who were the honorable wedding ceremony ministers. We commenced Family and group portraits prior to the wedding ceremony, and finished post ceremony. Obviously, this allowed us to get some more bride and groom portraits of Jessica and Ali after the ceremony.
Jessica and Ali´s wedding reception kicked off with a grand entrance by the newlyweds, followed by some heartfelt speeches by close family and friends. Next was their first dance, after which the bride and groom were joined by all their wedding guests on the dance floor. Altogether, it was a fantastic day with a lovely couple.
