Indian Wedding Hard Rock Cabos
7-9 July 2022
Alyssa and Hari’s Indian wedding Hard Rock Cabos was one of those celebrations that just flows from start to finish — three days of colour, energy, and genuinely lovely people, all set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos.
Cabo has a very different feel to Cancun. It’s more dramatic, slightly wilder — desert meeting ocean — and it worked perfectly for their wedding.
Day 1 – Ganesh Puja & Haldi
The wedding began with a relaxed Ganesh Puja followed by the Haldi.
Set right by the ocean, there was a soft breeze coming through — something you quickly learn to appreciate in Cabo. It kept things comfortable and gave the whole event a very easy, natural feel.
The Haldi itself didn’t stay calm for long.
As always, it turned into a mix of laughter, colour, and just enough chaos — with no one leaving clean, which is exactly how it should be.
Day 2 – Baraat & Indian Wedding Hard Rock Cabos
Day two is where everything lifts.
Hari made his entrance on horseback, leading a full baraat along the beachfront. It had that perfect balance — high energy, music, dancing — but still felt controlled enough to let moments unfold naturally.
The ceremony itself took place overlooking the ocean, which is one of the biggest advantages of having an Indian wedding at Hard Rock Cabos. The open horizon behind the mandap gives a completely different feel compared to indoor venues.
It was a traditional ceremony, but relaxed. Nothing felt rushed, which meant real moments had space to happen — always where the best photographs come from.
Day 3 – Indian Wedding Reception Hard Rock Cabos
By day three, everyone had settled into the rhythm of the wedding — which is usually when receptions are at their best.
The space at Indian Wedding Hard Rock Cabos was transformed into a full luxury setup, and the atmosphere shifted slightly. Still high energy, but more refined.
Alyssa and Hari’s entrance set the tone immediately, followed by speeches, dancing, and one of those evenings where the dance floor never really empties.
Why Hard Rock Cabos Works So Well for Indian Weddings
Hard Rock Cabos has become a strong choice for Indian destination weddings, particularly for couples coming from the US.
- Large-scale venues for multi-day events
- Teams experienced with South Asian weddings
- Beachfront + open-air ceremony options
- Consistent weather and light
It’s one of the few venues in Cabo that can handle both the logistics and the atmosphere of a proper Indian wedding.

Planning an Indian Wedding Hard Rock Cabos?
If you’re planning your own Indian wedding Hard Rock Cabos, feel free to get in touch.
Photographing an Indian wedding at Hard Rock Cabos requires more than just understanding the venue — it’s about understanding the pace and flow of multi-day South Asian celebrations.
From early morning preparations through to late-night receptions, the schedule moves quickly, and moments don’t repeat. Knowing when to step in, and when to step back, is what allows everything to feel natural rather than staged.
Hard Rock Cabos works particularly well for this. The spaces are well laid out, transitions between events are smooth, and the combination of beachfront and open-air areas gives a variety of backdrops without needing to move locations.
For couples, it means less stress. For photography, it means better results.
